The first project I worked on at Reach Robotics was the hero illustration for the Mekamon V2 packaging design.

The brief was to create an illustration of a photo-realistic Mekamon, interacting with a low polygon augmented reality environment.

This was a very interesting project for me as the brief was fairly specific and I needed to learn some new techniques in order to execute it effectively. I rendered a low poly 3D background in Cinema 4D, composited it with a photo-real render of the Mekamon created by the product design team, and then added post-effects in photoshop to embed the Mekamon into the environment.
